Quite the inspiring build Joe. Got me to convert from a lurker to a registered member... I will in all likelihood "borrow" some of your ideas for a similar project I am working on.

      Thanks again,

      John

Thanks for the kind words guys. Car is currently in the interior shop. Hopefully it’ll be done in 2 months or so, so I can enjoy it this spring/summer.

If anyone has any questions or needs any info feel free to PM me.

Interior has been taking a super long time just like everything else custom. I thought since I did a lot of mocking up etc on the interior it would be quick. I was wrong. Anyway it’s coming together and should be done in a few weeks.Name: IMG_5460.jpg

Also the stock windshield and back glass is in that my body guy made fit flush. It was super hard to find a glass guy to do the black perimeter and install. Seems like most glass guys just have blinders on and stay in their lane don’t want to do anything custom.Name: IMG_5523.jpg

Used the same center console in my.68 chevelle, love it. How did you get the cup holder lights to light? I had to remove the OEM bulb and glue a 12v led to the fiber optic tube. Did you find a way to get the required 5v signal to it?

I don’t think mine has the cup holder lights. Maybe your center console is from a higher spec model? For the 5V signal I’m assuming you are talking about the seats. I used a 555 timer it was annoying to find the right pulse to keep the seat awake but it’s working.

It’s turning out really nice. Can’t wait to see the final results. Is that a TMI one piece head liner?
