West Coast Muscle Car Shootout Announced for Pleasanton

THE WEST COAST MUSCLE CAR AUTOCROSS SHOOTOUT IS COMING TO THE 24TH SUMMER GET-TOGETHER, JUNE 3 & 4

(Pleasanton, CA)--Goodguys AutoCross racing is second to none and we are continuing to build our catalog of amazing events! In keeping with this year’s focus of Muscle Car Madness, The West Coast Muscle Car Shootout presented by Fuel Curve has been added to the 24th Summer Get-Together, June 3 & 4 in Pleasanton. This 16 car shootout will be a crowd pleaser! Here is the rundown on this inaugural event!

· Saturday will be qualifying for the Shootout from 8 am to noon and then 1 pm to 5 pm.
· Sunday morning up until noon, we will continue qualifying. At noon, the top 24 cars will be listed.
· At 1 pm we will have the 24 cars run the first round of qualifiers and reduce the field to 20 cars.
· At 2 pm, the 20 cars will run and the second round of qualifiers will be reduced to the field of 16.
· 3 pm starts the single eliminations on a 16 car PRO ladder. By the end of the day, we will have the winner of the West Coast Muscle Car Shootout presented by Fuel Curve! The Top 4 1972 or older cars will go directly to the Duel in the Desert Finals in Scottsdale in November.

The winners of the inaugural West Coast Muscle Car Shootout presented by Fuel Curve will go home with cash, gift certificates and bragging rights! The prize money is:
· 1^st $1,000
· 2^nd $750
· 3^rd $500
· 4^th $250
