About 2 weeks ago I bought a 1993 mustang lx, 5.0, 5 speed. Driving and shifting a 5.0 foxbody has inspired me to get the Daddywagon on the road. Much of what I bought was for a long rod 351 engine build. I decided to just get it rollin' with the 302 and have my 351 built while I enjoy it as is.

The wheel above is a deeply backspaced steel wheel from the 2006-2011 ford crown victoria. I plastidipped a couple white to see if I like it; and I do! I am gonna have a set of these common police wheels powder coated white.

The plastidip is a shade bright but I definitely like the white.

Well, that pretty much sums up where I am. I have been working on it pretty steady the past couple of weekends. I have an optimistic goal of attending fords at carlisle which is the first week of June. Only minutes ago I ordered a new fuel tank to house my 255 lph walbro. I am gonna teach myself bodywork and replace a panel in the engine bay. Thanks for checking out my Daddywagon! More updates coming as I progress.

I like your project. This should be great fun and useful. About the time you wax some young guy in a Mustang, he's going to wonder what happened.
