Just went through the entire thread

Love the car and the build and the s10 is sweet. I kinda have a love for them.

And the Circa 1983 really made me feel old as I was in High School in 83

It’s all in red sealer primer now. Get to go over every square inch next for pinholes and imperfections. Will use glazing putty, spray over the touch up and then wet sand it all with P400. Time to start gathering materials for my garage spray booth.

I think I’m going to be very happy with the Solar Red. Going to let these coats cure and color sand before laying on clear.

Color coats are on, very happy with the Solar Red. Looks like nail polish. Optimistically I should have it on the road by mid/late March.

You are doing a really nice job! Really nice DIY/garage/front yard project. Very impressive what you’re doing on your own. I think it’s going to turn out exceptionally well! Now if my 69 Firebird would hurry up and get back from the sandblasters I could get rolling. I’m so jealous of everybody’s progress!

Thanks all, I’m fortunate to have really awesome neighbors who all have been complimenting the progress. I got to see my recent paint work in the daylight finally and I’m more than pleased with how it is turning out. Drilling holes for the wheel well trim, if all goes well I should by driving it by March/April...

Got clearcoats on some panels, going to be too cold for a while to clearcoat the rest so I got bored and put the PONTIAC on the trunk and tackled the driver side glass.

My junkyard radiator (94 S10 Blazer HD) for my S10 I got in May of 2011 split this morning dropping off my son at school, 38 miles from home. I swapped in a new one in 20 minutes but it ruined my plans on working on the car. Oh well, still shooting for being on the road by Spring. Connected the steering column and dropped her off of the jack stands. I stripped my two driver seats and am going to have to rebuild the lower seat springs. My passenger seat turned out nice so I’m sure I’ll get the driver side in order. It was late but got some pics of my LT4/T56 S10 next to the Firebird. She’s lower than I thought.

Great job sticking with it. So many people start and never finish. Laughed to myself when I saw the S10. I used my buddies back in 1994 and burnt up his clutch trying to learn to drive stick. Glad to see one in that great of shape! Nice job man.
