WAIT!!! Your first picture was dated 4-11-17, today is 3-4-18. You did all this in less than a year? I am totally impressed! Do you ever sleep? And it looks like it's coming along really nicely. Good Job Buddy.

Ha, actually started November 2016... but it's also been locked up in paint jail for 5 months until a week ago, so technically less than a year that I've had it here to work on. And I'm behind schedule!

      Hi Buddy.

Can I ask you what intercooler you ended up using? I am going to need one for my build and thought yours looked pretty clean and fit nicely.

      Thank you.

HaHa... Your not behind schedule, I've been working on mine for over 10 years! I'll admit some of that time was when I was really busy at my business. I'm retired now so maybe I can get some things finished. Going to be a very nice your building. I can't wait to see the end result.

      Yes it's a stock GM ZL1 intercooler... I'm assuming 5th gen.

No major updates but a lot of small items. Got wheels sized and been working on a bunch of misc. items... brake and fuel lines are aprox. 95% complete.

Great build you have going on, I have gone the same route as you. Got a 70 camaro and put a 2013 LSA engine with 6L90e from a crashed ZL1 donor.
I did mye own motor brackets, and have 2mm clearance from the oil pan down to the crossmember on the subframe.
Just wondering how much clearance you have on your oil pan when you are using your stock hood ?

Here is a picture from the engine:

Ok, here are some updates. Lot of small misc items so doesn't look like much visually. Brake lines are complete, fuel line complete. Most coolant and PCV plumbing is done. Swapped out ZL1 lid for CTSV lid that now gives me about 1/2" hood clearance. Starting on wiring (which I hate doing). Have majority of rear and front lights wired along with fuel pump. Still have to tie in a lot under the dash. Also went with one piece DBA 4000 rotors due to good reviews. Heavier than 2-piece but about 1/3rd the price.

Forgeline wheels are ordered. Hope to see them by end of May/first of June. Hopefully will have majority of other items buttoned up by then.

I'll have to check... I know it's pretty close though. The crank pulley is close to the front crossmember as well. I wouldn't feel comfortable going lower.

Nothing too significant in the past couple weeks, just cleaning up some plumbing and wiring, mounted ecm under dash, ran pvc plumbing, etc. Gathering up all my parts and trim that need to go to powder coating. Hoping to finish wiring this coming weekend. Wheels should be close to being finished soon.

I did finally finish design on rear spoiler and had it laser cut. It will be powder coated satin black to match rest of trim on car. It fits better than it looks in photo.

It must fit good because it looks great! Did you do anything to the light buckets to fit the headlight bulbs in them? I have a set of truck lites but haven't tried to fit them yet. I have an a69 with the RS grill just wondering if they will interfere with the doors.

The Truklites fit perfectly fine, I'm sure they'll fit good in your 69 as well.

Awesome looking Camaro!! I'm building a 1970 Camaro with a LS motor. I'm wondering who's master cylinder and powerbooster you are going with? I ordered one from summit racing and the rubber boot is about .5" away from the fire wall. Hate to keep ordering and not be right and have to pay shipping back to them!! Your help would greatly appreciated
