Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that the rust was hidden behind that body work. Glad you got it all taken care of now though!

looking good- alot of this same stuff ive run into on my 64 build. Lots of cutting, welding, metal treatment and POR15 everywhere to try and hold off the cancer.

What I plan the paint scheme to look like. The taillight panel will also be flat gray.

back when he was still alive, mike(the owner of classicinlines who developed the aluminum head) built a 250 that was featured in hot rod magazine(i think) and it made 323hp. i forget how much boost was used. you might search for the article in question, its out there somewhere.

The dyno numbers in that story are from Will's wife Falcon. Mike never got the engine running. When he passed it was still in storage. Last I talked to him about it he wanted to get it out and running. Sadly his cancer came quick and fast.

Awesome build you're doing. Cool to see someone putting together an old inline.

Well with a turbo and A/C in my future plus living in Florida I upgraded my radiator. I went from a 18" alum to a 24" from ACP for a big block Mustang. We cut the opening bigger and drilled new holes. Look for the full story to be in Mustang Monthly later this year.

Nice looking lower valance, it that something you made? Or who did you get it from?
      Project looks great BTW.
Stopped being lazy and went back through your thread, Mustangs to Fear, I will check them out.
With a little work guys have been able to fit a Mustang GT350 valance on a Falcon and I need the room for the intercooler.

I will need to cut it out when I install an inetercooler later this year. But with the billet grill that goes in the valance it will look very clean when I do.

Found a very rare Edelbrock Ford inline 6 valve cover today. I bought a 250 inline 6 with it. So I will be using it when I build my turbo 250 Inline 6.

The front uses the stock brackets but you have to trim them so it fits. The rear used a mounting bracket from Mustangs to Fear.

I really love this build! I like that you are keeping it as a inline 6 instead of just installing a V8 in it! Keep up the great work, this will be a killer looking Mustang!
