Thanks for posting the pictures, so cool! Curious what kind of mileage you got on the trip?

Man I love what you did to that car! Such a high level build from the interior to the amazing body work. I love how the rear spoiler elongates and defines the rear, and the hood fits the character so nicely as well. Great job man, glad you got to enjoy it on the Power Tour, maybe I'll see you there in a few years(at the pace I'm going, lol).

I averaged 20 even with the A/C on. But with my 4cly trans and 3.40 rear gear hurt it. It is similer to me running a V8 T5 with 4.10 gear.

Thank you so much I worked hard on it. Very happy with my first time doing it.

Well I changed my engine to a NA straight 6 250. I planned to turbo it but after adding up the cost. I did not think it was worth it for me. So here is my current build specs with the machine work done. I am hoping to get 250+HP and 300TQ at the crank.

250 block aline hone with ARP studs and girdle
      deck milled to .080 to achieve a 10.5-1 C/R(the 250's have a .123 deck height from factory)
cylinders bored .20 over to use NOS TRW forged pistons
      rods resized with ARP bolts
      Balanced rotating assembly

Vintages Inlines alum head with 1.80" intake valves and 1.50" exhaust valves and intake.
      Cam specs TBD
      1.65 Yella Terra roller rockers
DUI dist(may change to a dizzy)
Dual out headers to x pipe.
High flow water pump from Flow Kooler
      Sniper or FItech EFI
      Dual electric fans
      T5
      Billet steel flywheel Zero balanced

Where did you come up with the girdle? I have a CI head, for a 200 I think I want to put in an MGBGT. Probably won't need a girdle w/ shorter stroke.

250 flywheel is same as a Windsor w/ different balance, correct?

I bought the girdle from Australia. They do not make one for the 200. 250 fly is the same with no weights on it.

Finally got to install the 250 to replace the 200. Had a few bumps but it is in. Hopefully break the cam in this week. Had to modify trans mount to slid engine back about an inch. Still have to install electric fans.

50 cubic inches is a hefty percentage. I think you will be very happy.
