I LOVE this build!! I have a line on a 65 coupe with all the metal work done and in primer. Still a full on project, but the hard work is done. Seeing this really makes me want to go buy it.

I really like the looks of the TMI interior kit, my only issue is that they embroider their logo right on the sides of the seat like that. If I was spending all the money for their kit, it would drive me nuts to have their logo right there like a billboard. Not your doing obviously.

Can't wait to see more as it comes together!

The rear is coming together with parts from Mustangs To Fear. I have their Spoiler/end caps, bumper and valance. I have also sprayed my second round of poly primer and more blocking to come.

Slowing getting ready for final priming. Hopefully this week. Plus new wiring harness to install after paint.

Had a close call from Hurricane Irma. Had a branch come through the roof and close to hitting the body. Only damage was a few scrapes from the light bulbs hitting the body. I am very lucky. Should be in final prime next week.

That's quite a distraction! Is the roof decked with plywood or something like 1x2's?

It is a tin roof with trusses. There is plywood in the attic for decking for storage.

Sprayed the underside of hood and deck lid. Also jammed out the car since I will be painting it assembled. Hopefully have the whole car painted by the first week of Nov. Still have to one more round of blocking. Underside of hood was just scuffed and sprayed, no body working it.

How do you like the MTF upper nose? I’m thinking about ordering one.

It is really nice. Of course you have to make it fit by a little grinding. I would highly recommend it.

Getting closer to paint. Hopefully the week of Thanksgiving. More blocking and painted the inside of the doors.

Sprayed the first coats of SPI orange. I will have to wet sand some trash out and then two more coats and clear.

It's been awhile since I did an update. I finally was able to do the second round of clear on the misc pieces. I did three coats wet sand then sprayed four more. I will wet sand them in a bit. I will be spraying the car starting on Sunday. It has been a long journey but will be worth it. I can write a book on what not to do.

Looking great. Doing all the prep to actual spraying the paint seems to take forever. I can appreciate all the time and effort to get to this point. Love the color too.
