Guess luck was on my side this week,

So my mom gave me her 94 Olds 98 at Christmas. Well Tuesday the battery took a dump. Or so I thought. Well borrowed buddy's mini van as I broke down at his place and one of his cars seems to have had bcm to bad. Well drove over to Walmart, thought battery was pro rated but not anymore just long free replacement. So since cars old I dipped into what cash I have and got a value battery. Get back and alternator was shot, only 12 yrs old! So pulled it off, call parts place to get replaced, and they didn't have same model but had reman instead, same warranty but cheaper. So buy a $52 battery and get $48 back on alternator. So breakdown only cost me price difference and gave buddy some gas money. Guess luck is still with me for now. Now if job hunting gets better.
