Looking for Original Materials? Check out ORIGINAL AUTO INTERIORS

Just ran across their website www.originalauto.com looking for days to find some turquoise vinyl - and seat cloth for my 67 Bonneville.

      EXTREMELY DIFFICULT COLOR TO MATCH

Gave them a call, sent them some pictures, they have both in stock

I guess they have yards upon yards of NOS material

They Even went digging to find me some package tray material very close to the original pattern

Hard to believe! Wanted to share - maybe some of you have dealt with them before?

      Nice Folks, Check them out

      Nate

Have you received what you ordered yet? Wonder how 50 year old fabric has held up

I would try legendary its new repo, probably the best in that area. I wouldn't use material that old

Any particular reason you wouldn't use it?

i figure if I can still wear some t shirts I wore in high school over 20 years ago that have been washed and dried a million times, Properly stored vinyl and seat cloth on a roll will probably be just fine

we shall see. It's on it's way

Maybe you'll have some luck. I'm guessing these guys know there business. I was speaking with a leather specialist that will take your factor sample and make leather the replace the vinyl. He does it for imports and American cars. He did a Gto recently and is on a few of the tv shows . Just seems to me to source these materials is expensive. Why not upgrade to leather and still ascertain the factory looking material. He only needs a small sample.

Interior is in excellent condition except the rear seat fabric is faded. Front seat has been redone. Looking to match the rear fabric to the front. All started with trying to find some correct grain and color vinyl to redo two cracked armrests. This is the family cruiser - the goal is to keep it looking and driving as good or better than the day it rolled off the lot in Texas - but stock

I had legendary make me some covers in a black/white pearl combo when I was using stock seats. Came out great and they made them just as I had requested. Good guys.
Vinyl might last, but we have no idea how or where it was stored, we just know they are selling it. Hopefully it'll work out, but unless old stuff is significantly cheaper I can't see a downside to having brand new covers made. But, again, hopefully this turns out to be what you need.

Just thought I'd throw it out there for another resource for someone in my situation trying to matchup some stock interior.

I know it's not custom pro tour stuff, but lots of guys on here have multiple cars some of which I would imagine are kept as near stock as possible
