Con rod queston for LQ4 buildup.

I'm putting new pistons on the stock rods and using the stock crank for my LQ4 buildup. I'm used to traditional sbc's having the chamfer on the rods face the fillet on the crank. The 6.0 rods look like they go either way? Which way do I tell the machine shop to put with the dot on the piston?

I thought the dot faced the front. However I am not 100% sure.

Yes the dot does face forward but I was more concerned with a bare rod. I did some searching and my crappy Haynes manual confirms with other sources that the flat side of the rods all face front.
