      2nd gen f-body (70 Camaro) exhaust w/ 4link?

      Hey guys,

Wondering if any of you have successfully been able to fit a custom exhaust with a 4 link suspension setup? I'm currently running ridetech and so see any way possible to exit the exhaust out the rear.

Can anyone post pictures of your setups? I've seen the recent Hooker exhaust option, but you have to butcher the trunk pan 😩

Right now im dumped before the axles and is too loud in the cabin.

I don't have any pics but the key is to go under the top links and give them enough room for the drop in travel they need then up and over the rear axle. If the front mounts are installed too low this can be a problem, but having them too low will bind your suspension and shouldn't have been done in the first place. Looking forward to some pics on this thread

I can't seem to find any pictures, but on this car we went under the axle:

These are a little different due to them having our full chassis added, but it limits going over the axle having a 4 link and the frame. As long as your shocks aren't extremely long (or you can put a travel limiter on somehow) then going under the axle doesn't hinder ground clearance. Only thing you'll have to watch out for is the corners of the tank. You'll see in the Raybestos page that we had to go around the bottom corner of the tank because TanksInc doesn't have a notched one yet, and we had 335's on the back.

That's perfect! Did you get the stock gas tank to fit?

I noticed a guy on Instagram "Bowtie_garage" with the Orange "ZL70" managed to do the same setup as you with a stock tank, and he notched the corners. His exhaust seems to be sitting very close to the tank.

How close is too close ?
