hurricane Mathew, hope my fellow east coasters are okay

I will never again bitch (okay, that's a lie) about paying to have an engineered certified building for hurricane wind loads. Shop survived without a scratch and the drainage I've installed over the last few years finally paid for itself. No water in the shop and very few trees down (Hermine took those out last month!). Aside from no power until today, everything good. I know some of you were less fortunate, and if your close and need any help or place to put your car, just let me know. Hope everyone is okay.

We're good. Been "rough camping" in the race trailer. Everyone was out of gas, but U-haul fills propane 7 days a week!

I'm down in Orlando and was pretty nervous about flooding and if there was going to be any damage to my car....that was pretty much what I was most worried about....everything else can easily be replaced with insurance and yes my car is covered but that wouldn't replace all the TLC Iv put into it and not to mention just finding another one I love as much as this one....we got lucky down here and didn't take a direct hit so everything was fine....glad your good up there in jaks to!

Downtown Charleston, SC got a bunch of flooding but here in Columbia we received nothing worse than some wind and rain. Nothing noteworthy.
