it would be better if we had not "retarders" ( don't know how you call that in the USA and if it exists ) on the raod, that's why I can't lowered my car more, sometime they are enought flat sometime they are really big ! more than 4" height...my oil pan is about 2.5-3" from the road.

They are basically speed bumps made out of asphalt and huge. I lived in Nancy for 3 years and Cholet for 4 years, so I understand! They suck for anything lowered but you can go over them at an angle and make it... (Maybe lol)

Banks kit finally arrived, now I have to choose which EFI system to buy, the Fitech Meanstreet is not compatible with boost so I will wait for the beginnig of february to see what the Go-Port will offer, else the new Ms3-pro ultimate looks very good and cheaper than Holley, Fueltech, ...Etc

to be sure that everything is cleaned inside the oil pan, I will remove it, replace the oil pan gasket and maybe replace the stock rubber motor mount bushings.

for the moment I've just unbolted it and look for any P/N, I've found on the crankshaft GM and (KC)01C01560 stamped on the face of the front counterweight, does anyone know which brand is building that crankshaft ? Kellogg Crankshaft ? can't find anything about it on the internet

Nice looking car. Love the color. This car DESERVES much, much better rims though. How does the hood stay closed? I didn't see any hood pins. Glad to see some American muscle appricated outside the USA

thx ! aggree with you but it will take a long time, my budget is limited and to import auto parts from US, we need to add about 30% taxes and duties....except by boat but this is 2 months waiting. There are 2 hood pins next to the radiator cover plate. for the future I'm planning to replace the stock front subframe by the Speedtech Xtrem, new wider rims...Etc

the color is from Toyota this is the 8M2 Galaxy blue, the dark blue I don't know the exact P/N but the precedent onwer told me it is from Kawasaki

Car parts finally received, I will be able to finish the mechanical installation

Now I know my engine is a 350 cid with a truck forged crankshaft, installation of the motor mounts was a nightmare !! oil pan cleaned

the ignition system will be the Holley crank trigger, a cam sensor/ oil pump drive avaible from EFI connection, 8 LS coils and the EFI system probably the new MS3-Pro ultimate.
