      Hello everyone

After 1st Dyno test, I ve just ordered all needed to build new custom headers that should deliver a bit more HP/TQ without increasing boost.

Hello Everyone, it's been a long time I did not update here.

When you take almost 180mph against a mclaren but it's still not enough this car is a monster, high tech!

To defend myself a bit anyway, I started at around 35mph in 2nd gear, for me below 2500 rpm, clearly a speed where my turbos are on the other side of the planet. The time they charge + the time wasted shifting gears he took 1/8 mile Impressive ! I had the max boost at 5000rpm

Next time I will try to start in 3rd gear at 50-60mph and set the pitlane to start with boost and the flatshift so I do not lose all the boost when changing gear.

Modernity speaks, I bow but I do not give up! Almost 300 kph in a 50-year-old car on about 1000m, that's honest

Next step building new exhaust headers and buy new gen turbos

Link below the run vs the mclaren

Dude that video is awesome and to even get the chance to run beside one in a 50 year old car is crazy freaking cool.
Keep it up. Mine is running and driving but in the body shop for side door glass now. Then carpet and seats.
I haven't figured out how to post a video. I'm not very social media savvy. LOL

      Thanks a lot !

Jason I can't wait to see yours running, just make the video with your phone and share it on youtube, that's the easiest way to do it if you don't have Facebook Instagram...etc

Hoo boy bet that McLaren driver had a heart attack when he saw how fast you were catching back up. Musta been thinking "Damn what would have happened if he hadn't missed a shift? BRING ME MY BROWN PANTS!"

On your slow boost, this link is a discussion on single vs dual scroll turbos. The thread starts by simple metal plate blocking off one scroll, and progresses into using an RPM-controlled solenoid to open the blocked side. Supposedly it gets boost built up to 2000RPM sooner without affecting high RPM boost. Might be something to look into. I saved this because I thought it would be something to do on my own build.

Thanks a lot for the link, I ll read it later !

Today is a great day, to beat modernity, I need modernity so I ve just ordered 2x new gen G30-770 to replace my T4/T61 dinosaurs

Between my T4/T61 and the new G30-770 T4-V-BAND 0.82 a/r, there were the gtw3884, gt35r, gtx35.. gen1 and gtx35..gen 2, so probably 30 years of technology. I can't wait to receive and installed them to see the difference before building new 4 in 1 exhaust headers.

I would not be surprised that they can spool 1500rpm below that I can have full boost between 3500-4000rpm instead of 5000rpm+

Here are the new Pulsar G30-770, good news even if they are not real garretts, the quality and finish are visually there, let's see the longevity. Less good news the shape of the exhaust turbine is not the same as my T4/T61, if I want to install them I will be comppelled to build new 4 in 1 headers which is planned.

Not Tig welded, just MIG welded but no leaks and it will be covered by exhaust wraps.

      Thx a lot Jason !

Finally finished building new 4 in 1 headers and swapping for new gen g30-770 turbos. Can't wait to see the difference between the stock Banks kit vs modified custom built on dyno with the same amount of boost.

Definitely looks faster lol. This thing was already insane. And to think I'm still just a poor little Natural aspirated beginner lol.
Can't wait to see some of your new numbers and video with the turbo upgrade

I need to tune the VE table again because boost comes way sooner, yesterday I drive on the highway, I hear an aircraft inside the car lol, the turbos begin to spool at 1200rpm In 6 gear with a very little amount of load I had 5kpa of boost and 25kpa of boost at 2000rpm, this is awesome ! Drivability became smoother and I have more response at very low rpm with the new headers

Very impressive!! That's crazy it's building boost down that low in rpm and load. Going to be even crazier, nicely done!!

Yes I did not expect that, with the stock banks kit it has never built boost in 6th gear even in 5th gear at low rpm and load. When I did the 3 runs on the airport, I had full boost in 5th gear at 5000rpm and 100% tps.

Next step will be to discover at which rpm full boost will come at 100% throttle but I will lower the boost duty lol
