It's been a long time now but I have made progress. I got the car painted. I pulled the blower off. I wish I kept it but I'll find another. I'm working on all the trim, glass and exterior now. I'm going to have a custom Italian leather interior installed and the wife and I are going to enjoy the shows with it.

Dave, You sound like the "pro" I need to listen to for building an old chariot I've had for a number of years, but never "got around to." I've a '63 Fairlane Squire I'd like to "modify," slightly in the direction that you've exquisitely detailed in your '63 4-door build. I've an '08 Mercury Grand Marquis donor car w/88K miles to use (4.6, AOD, etc.) and would like to talk w/you about this "challenge." Thanks for your time and consideration.

Sorry bud. I don't frequent this forum much anymore. If you want to talk, I'd gladly discuss what I did that you shouldn't and such. I had the car on the dyno and it was nice and strong but the 4.6 has oil starvation issues I had to rebuild for. Doing it now and going to run NA on this car because I have another in 2 door fashion I'm planning to put power to. Look on the 63 fairlane pages on Facebook and you'll find me easily.
