      Thanks man. No concerns about track really. Apart from the hassle it's caused up front matching it! Re wheels, we'll be going Forgelines so we can spec our offset to suit.

      You're right, regardless of quality, there's not many eh? Where in Scotland are you, I keep meaning to head up that way to hook up with some Mustang buds I know... Maybe once Hellraiser is on the road, we'll do the North Coast 500!

      Sounds good, i'm based Dumfries just over the border, car in workshop down Leicester, my mates got a 68 Camaro as well, more along the classic hot rod style. So could get a group together. Although i think my car is a good year off yet.

      I know for mine without flaring the rears I'll end up needing 9.38in of backspacing if I want to run 18x12 wheels in order to stay flush with my fender lines (+70 offset or so), not sure if I can pull that off, still a ways away from having the funding to buy the wheels but a lot more measuring and test fitting to do before that.

      How wide you planning on going in the front and rear?

      YOU DON'T ASK, YOU DON'T GET!

      That’s the lesson we learned from Ford UK when we asked for help with Hellraiser. What started out as a casual conversation about our project on social media, has ended up being one of the most incredible episodes in our build story to date. It seems our plans to restore and convert a ’69 Mustang to run on the S550 powertrain has excited Ford over here in England so much they want to back our project.

      So meet Donna the donor car, seen here on the ramp at Ford's engineering HQ in the UK, ready for us to pick the parts we need for our build. And what did we pick? Well, let's say there’s not much left of Donna now the engineering team have stripped her, boxed her bits up and shipped them in crates to us!

      We cannot thank the guys at Ford, Dunton enough for their support and efforts in making this happen. Having the Ford Company and UK management team on board in such a way is just mind blowing. We now love Ford more than ever. What a company!

      Struggling to find a decent way to mod the OE rear wishbones so they could take the shock mounts, we decided to make new ones out of T45 tubular steel. Apart from looking way sexier (in our opinion) these new wishbones are 3 kg lighter per unit than the stock S550 units they are replacing and will work better.
