Ridetech upper arms are touching my headers

So I figured I would have to remove the shim pack/upper arm and beat in exhaust to clear adequately. Any tips on pounding/heating header tube. The exhaust is also limiting a perfect alignment. I would like to have it as close to recommended specs. Header removal is out of the question. Pontiac headers are tougher than you can imagine to remove and install

Just use a socket with an extension and a hammer. I watched a youtube vid and David Freiburger beat the living hell out of a set of headers and lost ZERO performance. Just looked like ass.
