ARP pressure plate bolts don't like 50#'s even though that is what it calls for.

So while I am waiting on new bolts I might as well put these headers on.

Hopefully tomorrow this will go in for the last time. Would have gotten it in tonight but I was missing a few starter bolts and really wanted to put the starter in before it gets crammed into the engine bay. Once it gets in I can order the drive shaft and then its down to plumbing and finishing the wiring. A punch out list will also be done tomorrow.

It was a good day. She is home and wired up. Minor trimming aroung the shifter opening, (like Rich from MTF said), should take care of it.

Looks great!! Rich's headers fit excellent on mine as well, worth every penny not to have to mod anything.

Just curious, what is your ride height under those headers, and trans?

I had to trim it a little but not too bad.

Intake fits but The engine cover does not. Looks like it will go in the trunk until I get it parked. Lol
I need to figure out what two of the vacuum ports go to and if they can be capped.

I had the power steering lines fabbed up yesterday and much of the plumbing is done. Tomorrow when the box from Summit gets here the plumbing will be done sans Heater and AC. The trans Support is in and it wen't fairly smoothly. Had to remove the Ebrake bracket but other than that it was an hour deal. Bought the trans slip yoke today and should have a driveshaft soon. Ready to add fluids and then wire up under the dash. Still need to settle on my exhaust. I guess its time to figure it out. I want as little drone as possible but with an old school muscle sound.

All plumbed up and making great headway on the wiring. Tomorrow, she gets fluids.

Had to make a bracket off the Alt. to keep the lower hose from making contact with the pulley and belt. I will paint it and put some rubber backing on it to keep it from rubbing a hole.

Just a little wiring goin on. Still need to brace up and close the trans tunnel.

Got to start on the AC today. They sent out a non factory AC kit vs. a factory AC kit even though I stated it 3 times. No biggie, I will correct it tomorrow. I also ordered nearly $200 worth of braided wire loom now that most of the interior is wired.

Next week, brace and close up that tranny tunnel.

That exhaust will be much easier to install, with (hopefully) no / minor modifications needed. I'm starting to think that less complicated = quicker results lol. You'll be driving in no time!!!
