Thanks. I am starting another in a few months. I managed to actually salvage some stuff from it, (no joke) and I figured why not. This one will be no expense spared. I want a magazine cover this time. I built several trucks and made it into several rags. I know what it takes but I also know what I want.

I don't know how I missed this tragic news. My heart goes out to you and your loved ones. So very sorry for the setback, and very glad none of you were hurt. Prayers and well wishes sent your way, looking forward to your new project.

Well, the house is rebuilt, the shop is ready and I am itching to start again. I have started looking for Kate 2.0. It’s time.

Glad to hear things are getting sorted out. I was wondering what was going on as of late.

Make sure Kate 2.0 isn't full of mud

Thanks, I love it here. Far enough North of Austin and deep enough in Texas.

I am back. Just bought a 69 Mach 1 in great shape. Trying to decide on a Coyote again or build the 351w in it to a 427.

Great thread. So sorry for the unfortunate twist. The house burning down and taking my projects with it is one of my worst fears. Love the new find though.

I have to vote Coyote. I'm about to take delivery of my 408w stroker. For the money, the Coyote would have been the smarter choice. I'm kicking myself for not doing it.

      Good luck either way!

I like it, especially the shaker. Glad you got a new project.

If the towers and front metal are in good shape a 427w would be easier and still have great power.

Coyote with a shaker would be interesting too...
