1970-1981 Camaro Billet Aluminum Trunk Hinge and Strut Kit

Leave no rusty stock hinge intact is our motto, and in keeping with that we just released a billet aluminum trunk hinge and strut combo for the second-gen Camaro. The full kit complements the CNC machined billet 6061 T6 aluminum hinges we have been making for years for the 1970-1981 Camaro. Adding the nitrogen filled struts allows for a much smoother and reliable operation than the stock torsion rods. Struts are available for steel, fiberglass, and carbon fiber trunk lids. The full kit includes the black nitrogen struts, billet aluminum mounting brackets, and all of the necessary stainless steel fasteners. Installation is simple, requiring drilling a few holes. Replacing the hinges involves removing the rear deck filler panel. This kit is engineered and machined in our Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility right here in the US of A. Seven custom finishes are available.
