Sorry but having worked at a dealership and selling cars I have to ask ...maybe I missed it but when you said how long it wasn't on the road why didn't you say for example when there's a problem with the wheel heater.... Fine pull the fuse and I'll drive it until the part comes in ...etc etc obviously not totally possible with the sunroof but still I'd do all I could to drive my own while awaiting Parts

It was only down 3 days for the steering wheel. Most of the problems have been either getting parts or technicians not being able to diagnose it. It took five trips to the dealership for them to verify the transmission problems, then three attempts to fix it. I get they were trying the easiest solutions first, but that should not be my problem when I spent over 50k on a truck. The new steering wheel took two weeks to arrive and I drove it the way it was until they got it

If you saw the service records it would make more sense. ☺ For example once the local dealership, which is chevy (I had to drive an hour to buy a GMC) realized it needed a new transmission they couldn't do it because their only trans mechanic was away. After it sat for a while I asked for an update and found that out. I had to talk the GMC dealer into towing it to them and fixing it. According to them the towing was out of their pocket.
