Switching to Hydraboost and power steering!
I put this in here because it is engine, brake and suspension related.
It is time. Im tired of messing with my crappy broken brake booster and my pathetic stiff manual steering. I have been talking with Paul from Hydraboost on and off for the last couple weeks. His incredible knowledge has completely convinced me to take this huge leap. I was just wondering from the members of this board if there were any little items or bugs that I might run into while I do this swap. I know the following information from Paul. I just purchased the Hydratech unit today so I will leave that off the list.
1. PS pump with 2 return nipples and press on pulley
2. PS gear box- stock will be fine and affordable
3. PS brackets- If anyone has a set lying arond I am interrested
4. He is supplying all the lines and fittings I need
Are there any other things I need to know or look for while buying the parts? I am also open for different options on the power steering brackets. Stock? Aluminum?
