I would argue that the amount of variety is pretty small (besides the beetle). That said, your stable is impressive!

Slow as hell, handles terrible, horrid MPG, little cargo room. BUT its different and insanely capable so I love it. 5800lbs, 150 hp and 35" tires make for an excellent vehicle to practice carrying speed

While I finish my Nova, my son and I will be running his tuned HHR in this summer's Sandhills Open Road Challenge. It stands out in a field of Vettes, Mustangs, Camaros and assorted exotics. It may look funny, but is surprisingly capable on the winding road course.

My daily driver is a company issue Ford Fusion. Not what I would have chosen, but meets the requisite budget of free.

I see your point and agree there is a lot of overlap shown though I'd add that the 6-71 Camaro and the LT4 Vette may be similar since both are a forced induction small engine solution for power but they feel more different than alike to me

My projects are better examples of my automotive multiple personality disorder. The doen't show well in pictures (Lotus MKVI) since it is literally in boxes but here are some that are (very slowly) in work:

The rest of the year I pay my Girlfriend to chauffeur me around in her Subaru or drive my old blue GMC.
About to make poor choices and regrettable decisions

The Lingenfelters have run two of these at OLOA for years and do quite well.

A lot of people were surprised how well we did. It did out perform the Fox body Mustangs and early C4 Corvette that were near stock. We were totally dusted by the C5's and newer Vettes and, of course, the 2000 horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo.

I guess I need to stop by Lingenfelter to see what they can do for us. His Michigan shops are all within 15 minutes of my house.

I do think there is a driver skill (or lack of fear) differential between Lingenfelter's driver and me. I think I'll always be a bit behind.

Thanks guys....my dad's a car and guy and drag raced before I was even born, and had some cool stuff when I was growing up. Helped me buy the Mach 1 at 12 years old...his friend had 2 '63-'65 Rivs when I was a kid (like 6). I thought they were the baddest rides on the planet. Got this one about 3 years ahead been building it since.
