I know this thread is older. But I just came across it. I am looking to get these exact wheels and tire size for my 68 but was not sure if I could run a square stance of 18x9.5 with 285/40R18. Do you have stock suspension and rear end width? Did you run wheel spacers or anything? This is the first time I have seen anyone with the exact wheel/tire setup I want. I wasn't sure if the same backspacing front and rear would sit flush but your truck sure looks perfect.

I'm running basically just lowered stock suspension. My truck is dropped 4.5/6.75. I discovered the inside edge of the wheels will rub the lower control arms at full lock. The correct fix for this would be tubular control arms, but for the time being, I welded some 1/4" steel plates to the steering stops on the control arms.

I was taking a big chance ordering these without actually knowing they'd fit. I measured and checked alot beforehand and still wasn't 100% sure they were gonna work. Some people still have a hard time believing they fit that well. lol

As for weight, these are one piece cast wheels, so they're relatively light. USMags offers them is a two piece forged billet version, which should be lighter and stronger. I'm on a super tight budget currently, so cast wheels were my only option.

Very sharp truck, love the slant hood. Wheels look great and stance/fit look spot-on!
