800 hp would be on the upper end .. since I am talking about wheel horsepower, and 12 to 13 pounds since we are not trying to break a bunch of other things. But realistically the low to mid 700hp

Well we had a problem blowing oil out the breathers, so we decided to fix that by putting in a nice overflow tank with a breather... hopefully this engine bay is done! And we have two step ;)

      other side

Now time to beat on it at 6 pounds... then get it tuned for about 12 or 13 lbs ;)

Naw, no intercooler I don't have a lot of room. Plus not going to run aburbs amount of boost. If I had to run anything it would be meth injection

ok ! about timing retard during boost, I see you have the 6AL-2, is it the programmable version ? do you use a MSD map sensor connect to the 6AL ?

well as my lack of luck continues to progress with this build... or maybe I should say luck since we caught the problem early we found out that the reason we was having oil blow by was because there was way to much pressure engine to oil sitting on top of the piston... I guess the hyper eutectic pistons did not like the 6 lbs of boost the car had and was already showing signs of damage .. plus a few of the rings was shot... SO to fix the problem once and for all, well I decided to fix it hopefully permanently with one of these

A CNC Dart 400 short block... forged everything and the rings gapped to be able to handle 20 pounds of boost...

Thanks bud, it was nice for everything but my wallet lol. And yea I have learned the the rings need to be upgraded for that kind of pressure. Even with the dart block I needed to have upgraded rings, as well as upgraded arp bolts and the rings had to be gapped to handle up to 20 lbs of boost

Well finally got the new block... could not get a one piece main seal from Dart, So got a two piece main seal with a new flex plate. The engine short block was built and balanced by cnc motorsport. Rings are made to withstand up to 20lbs of boost. Unfortunately due to funds being relegated to a few house projects and a complete jeep build! Plus the block so I could put new afr heads and a cam in there :( But its life

Still 800 hp range... I don't like breaking stuff and that type of power will almost be unusable on the street! So i think its plenty. Plus no intercooler so I wont really want to go past 15lbs .. and 15lbs is suppose to double what the engine makes... so I will probably be around 900 hp lol.. around 790 or 800 to the ground since I am gaining displacement with the 400... but will lose more with the 4L80e! Its going to be crazy fast regardless.. might have to rehear my ford 9" to maybe 3:21 from the 3:55 that is in there as well!
