upon further review it looks like I'm wrong. I'll need to use that output to control a Derale pwm controller.

The product description. Says nothing about being able to program the outputs how you want. I would consult the Sniper tuning manual.

So I’m moving on from sniper plan and laying out the details for terminator tbi setup. Any alternate suppliers for this connector?

If you want new parts, Gates has a kit that includes the controller and new wiring harness for about $190. Look it up for Ford Fusion.

I found a decent deal on ebay for that kit for $130 looks NIB. Has anyone figured out the connector for the other end of that harness? I guess I just use a Metripac or similar if I can't find the compatible end.

      Steve,

As far as I can tell, that is a Yazaki connector. I haven't had much luck finding a source for them. I think the Spal catalog shows some part numbers for them. The junk yard has these, but obviously not the new terminals.

If I'm reading that correctly then yes, "SPAL p/n 30130628" should be a complete male connector kit including terminals and seals?

Hey Andrew, I plan on running two of these GM pwm controllers (1 for each fan) and driving them with m Holley HP...do you see a problem 2 different controllers with the HP? I tried one for both and it lasted about 50hrs.

There is no issue running two controllers off a single PWM- output (just split the signal wire) from the HP. If you want to get fancy, you can have a separate PWM- output for each fan and control them under different conditions. This of course burns up a valuable output.

Get yours while they last. 4 left after I got mine. LOL

I'm running the dual SPAL fans, my calc shows about 20 Amps max per fan, So I think I'm fine on one controller. Andrew, do you concur?

Hard to say! The stock C6 fan is 400watt...so 32 amps at 12v. Two at 20amps might be pushing it, but I have no direct experience with dual fans. I just know you can split the PWM signal from the Holley.

I did run across this the other day:
      https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...434490&jsn=447

Made for Ford Edge with dual fans. Don't know much about it, but I suspect it works just like the C6 fan controller.

I might just run one fan on the PWM and see how the car does. Then use the second fan as and all or nothing on a hard relay.

Looks great Steve. I read somewhere that this connector is part of the USCAR standard, which is why I have seen them on various vehicles and why it is relatively inexpensive.

So I found a website that has the connector parts available. They're in HongKong and the website was a little clunky, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

      Guys,

Another option is to find a junk yard 2008 Ford Fusion. You can actually buy a Fusion fan AND controller, with harness for less than $200. The fans are big and would work great on old muscle car radiators. Then use the Spal Yazaki connector kit listed above for the mating side.

If this was available when I was building the Cougar, this is what I would choose.
