      66 stang with a Aston V12

I am building a 1966 Mustang with a 2002 Aston Martin V12, T-56, Ford IRS and whatever other crazy ideas come to mind. I started with a Coupe and it is now a fastback.

Very cool, I'll definitely have to keep my eye on this one!
By the way, how did you convert it from a couple to a fastback, do they sell the sheetmetal kits to do this easily or was it a lot of custom work?

Main thing I need to say is you gotta build long tube headers for this thing. The sound of the car in the link above makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Ps, ever see the green all steel mustang by Fantomworks which has 6 tail lights among other custom schtuff? Just a thought.

I know I will get crap from Pozzi, but a modified MII front suspension. My prior toy was a Lotus seven replica, so I have played with front suspension set ups. Arm length and extended Ball joints affect the control arm angles and roll center. Wilwood 12.19 brakes front and eventually rear. Name: Wilwood Front Brakes.jpg

Jlcustomz, Fantomwork's does some serious work. I might talk to Dan about paint as I am in Virgina. My wife though is from Jacksonville, and I went to school there!

Megasquirt Ms3 Pro for the ECU. Motor is basically a Ford/Cosworth. Sensors are all like my Zetec from my old Seven Replica. In fact the cylinder size, stroke, valve size and so on are all close enough to use my Zetec fuel map to get the motor running. I have a aftermarket Harness for the cars primary electrical and I will use a subpanel to do the engine operations. Ideally I would like to do a valet mode so if someone else has to drive it, they do not kill them selves.

If anyone has any V-12 experience, I am trying to figure out if the exhaust would benefit from a x pipe or not.

VERY NICE! I was close to doing a fastback conversion on my car but decided against it. I'm looking forward to seeing this project proceed. What are your plans for chassis reinforcements?

Front torque boxes, US Car Tool frame connectors with triangulated braces to the rockers, roll bar with possible side bars, front structural add ins and additional structure for the rear IRS.
