      California emissions EROD LS3 Question.

Can anyone link me to the California approval process of the emissions requirements of the E-ROD packages in an older vehicle?

I had to replace my factory harness with another gm harness which still has cats and whatnot. But the part number is different than the one in the LS3 CARB paper. Even though it still utilizes CATS and whatnot.

If anyone can help me out with this I'd be greatful

I believe that the entire erod package and only the specific has to be installed as a unit because the entire package is the only thing that carries the CARB number. Not sure that there is an approval "process." The way I read it, having a carb number makes it similar to installing any engine part that carries a number (ie. cold air intake), the smog guys make sure it's there when they run the car. Not sure if that is what you were looking for or if it helps.

      CA ARB info in link.

      IROC,
Did you have to go through a referee station with the wiring changes?
