The Bird finally rolls and sees Light!!!

Well its almost been a year, since the car was dissasembled and put on jack stands, it finally was lowered to the ground and was rolled out into daylight!! a few more months and it will be done! the only thing that sucks now is that I can' tlook at my super detailed undercarriage anymore

That's beautiful! You have really spent some time there. Did you do the paint work yourself, and are the suspension/frame components painted or powdercoated?

thanks, the car was already painted before i did all this, the paint job is "okay" for now. Me and a friend smoothed the entire firewall, we actually cut and rewelded a big section of it in, and painted it along with the undercarriage. The frame, front suspension, rad support, tranny crossmember, leaf springs, and rear end are all powdercoated. ANd dave yes i unfortunately have to run a cowl hood, i want a 3" cowl but it cost $200 more than a 4", and by the looks i might need a 4". THe stock flat hood/formula scoop hoods are a joke, no clearance at all.
