Great project, I love the Bertone! Getting one that's not completely rusted is half the rent. I have a friend who does Nord engines for historic racing and from what I gather 200 horsepower out of 2 litres will sacrifice everyday drivability. 180 might be the better compromise. Alfaholics in England sells lightweight Kevlar lids and doors for these..some sweet possibilities there..

Yeah, 200 hp will be a bit tough for a streetable Nord 2L. 180 will probably be fine to start with. If/when I get the "need for speed" I can drop in a Twin Spark turbo or turbo the Nord.

I'm quite familiar with Alfaholics products. They make nice stuff. Not cheap, but you do get what you pay for.

      Thanks,

      Scott

Thanks! Yes, I retired from the Army last year and I'm back home in San Antonio.
