Have you tried working with NiCopp brake lines? you may never use anything else, ever again.

      Which MC are you using?

I wish i could take credit..... but these guys started it. Vintage class legends. http://haneperformance.com/Firewall-Brace.html

No i have heard they are the way to go. I bought a pre bent kit for the front and rear and had some small sections of tube laying around. I may clean it up down the road and go with them.....

Stockish master for now. Havnt decided what direction i want to go there....

One last thing i forgot to do on the motor.

Changing from rear sump to front sump, the dipstick doesnt work. Had to pull the pan, the one piece pan gasket was leaking anyway.

      drilled the timing cover.

The tranny and bellhousing were absolutely caked in grease.

Took about a gallon of simple green and several hours to get them fresh

The pilot bearing was bad and needed to come out. I broke a harbor freight tool trying. so i went with the trusty bread and punch trick.

      New flywheel and clutch.

Trying to find a missing transmission bolt and it will be in on saturday.

I've never seen bread, but i have used grease. stuff the hole with bread, or grease, find whatever fits the hole snuggly and grab a hammer. then use the power of science to drive the pilot bearing out. pretty standard shade tree stuff.

You might consider changing the rear main seal while you're there.

Basically you fill the cavity with bread until you cant fit anymore, use something the same diameter as the inside( i used a large bolt and had to shave it down) pound it until the bread is conpressed, add more bread.

Bread can only be compressed so much before it will start pushing what ever is easiest out.

I have tried grease, with no luck. it makes a major mess too......

With grease the punch tool has to be exact, otherwise it squirts out. bread is more forgiving on the tools you may have to use

Im guessing you're referring the rtv on the back...... hahah.

I built the whole motor new. so it has a new rear main, but i cannot for the life of me make the back of the pan not leak, so a little bit of RTV solves the problem.

Got a new house under contract so i am trying to do what i can while i have a little time.

Got Mid length headers in, and they fit perfect. Will get them coasted after i fired it up. to test.

Got March Alt. bracket and idler bracket. Without these the belt routing on the water pump was the wrong direction.

      Got the Column mounted

Also hooked up the cable clutch. It obnoxious, and swings way forward. I'll likely got to a hydraulic set up.

Been getting as much wiring as i can, Bolted the upper intake in.

Just to get it out of the garage, i threw the radiator in as well.
