      Cold Air Intake

Wanted to know what size intake tube I should use, 3in. or 4in? Going in a 1985 monte carlo ss with 5.3/ 4l60. All stock with plans to upgrade power & performance.

I'd use 3.5". It will match up nicely with the truck MAF sensor and throttle body.

Measure the MAF sensor and buy accordingly. Going a bit bigger will not hurt a thing but going huge will gain you nothing but turbulence at the sensor when the air tries to enter it.
