      What a great community.

Hi Everyone. I wanted to just thank you all. I joined up 6 months ago, at that point I was just looking at converting the drivetrain in my 1st gen and knew nothing about the pro touring movement, only that I immediately fell in love with the look.
I'm out in the middle of nowhere here, American muscle cars are rare, pro touring cars are non existent, there are basically more cattle and kangaroo's than people in my general area.
It's far removed from the continental U.S. , and as people in other countries in general would probably agree, parts are expensive due to the currency, taxes, shipping etc. basically it's so important to get the right parts for a project the first time round.
I really appreciate the help and advice you've all given me, whether through the forum or PM's everyone goes out of their way to explain things or offer advice, I've been inspired by numerous builds on the site also. I could not of planned or ensured that I had the correct information I needed to obtain the right parts for a seamless transformation to a pro touring style car. Thank You All. Cheers Trevor.

Yeah, we're a nice bunch if I do say so! JK. I have often wondered why people from every walk of life can get along in these forums and our government leaders have such a hard time doing so. Maybe they all need a car to work on, who knows....

Seriously? You've seen the mess some of them make in government, you wouldn't want to share the road with something they had laid a spanner on, would you? LOL.
I don't know if you've seen the news, they change leaders here that often they'd get nothing done anyway.
