      HP loss through transmission

Would anybody have an idea on what kind of HP can be lost through the transmission. ZZ383 with a couple of changes, dyno'd at 457 hp. TCI 350 streetfighter and a streetfighter TQ converter with a gearvendors. I like how everything works it just feels like I lost a lot of power. Anybody have this combo and what was your experience? Wondering if the GV looses a lot.

I would expect the gear vendors takes up a pretty big amount

You can monitor loss using HP tuners I believe. Unless you still have pwm active in the trans you will have some loss as PWM never operates at 100%. All that being stated, once you reach TCC you have a positive connection. Otherwise, there is some slippage in all gears.

You should put the car on a chassis dyno. For a couple of pulls, that shouldn't cost too much.
