Being very familiar with plastics having been in that industry my entire life, why are you choosing phenolic and where are these 'looms' being located? What wires are you 'looming'?

      phenolic wire looms

Spark plug wire. Just to make spacing correct and placement where I want. It would also make it easy to take the wires on and off in one piece with correct location all the time. Just a idea my buddy came up with.

If you are going to machine these, ABS or Acetal would be better choices for easy machining. Phenolic is a PITA.

For spark wire looms I would just purchase them. Lot's of choices out there from plastic to billet.

I would go for it if you have the time. Phenolic looks sweet when machined and has great heat resistance.
