how can I rekey my glove box lock?

I took it out and took it all apart, but not sure how I can make sure it works with my key. I have a functioning glove box now, just can't lock it (no big whoop)..

So is there a way to do this without a locksmith?

If you have the "pins" to do the re-key yourself no big deal.

If not should be a $10-$15 job or less from any locksmith.

That's okay! Why do such things on our own and make it more complicated. Rekeying is the relatively simple process of changing the tumbler or wafer configuration of the lock. There are locksmith Los Angeles, CA that is expertise in this field. You can take professional help and get is done in minutes.
