68 camaro complete floor pan replacement

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has successfully tried to replace the complete floor pan in the passenger compartment of a 68 camaro without removing the front subframe, the pan is a little wider than the rear window opening, but if the replacement floor was bound with a ratchet strap and a slight bow pulled into it I suspect there would be enough flex along the top of the tunnel to slip through, just trying to avoid taking the entire front off. Anyone tried it? Cheers trevor.
