Love the idea. I have been toying with the notion of swapping my 1972 F100 longbed onto a 2002 Ford F150 frame a buddy has at his shop.

I'm doing the same project as your friend did here, I'm looking to know if you can tell me where you mounted the cab, height wise.. like can you give me two points and tell me the distance.. like door hinge to floor? It will save me a lot of time, thanks so much.. also if you had any more photos, I would love to see them. Thanks for sharing this work!

Did you shorten the bed to oem short box specs?
How many inches did you take out of the box, both front and rear cuts?
