Racefab Inc full tube chassis pro touring 69 mustang mach 1

A pretty radical two seat modern GT-1 chassis under a factory steel 69 Mustang Mach 1 body for the ultimate pro touring style track car. I found these pics on their facebook page. They also have a 442!

Pretty un-protouring. Skinning a tube chassis is a parlor trick. At least with Racefab doing it, it'll be as fast as it'll be expensive and classless (as in no where to race).

Racefab has won multiple championships in IMSA and SCCA, so obviously the cars are classy (lol) and fast! This Mustang is legal for many events. As far as not being a pro touring car, the idea of taking a muscle car and turning it into a road race performer is exactly what this accomplishes. The idea of creating a modern style Gt1 racer beneath the factory steel body that still allows factory doors and two seats is awesome!

What ever happened to this car? Racefab still has these pics on their website but nothing showing more progress. I wonder if it was an abandoned project?
