I put them in my 68 camaro convertible, used the 6x9 speaker baffles and they came out very good, painted them red to match my deluxe interior, and covered the wood part with red speaker cloth, they look awesome

We are wondering if there is a fix for the 69. We'd love to put these in our 69! They look awesome! We are using
6-1/2" speakers in the front.

I'm interested for my 69 as well.

I would also be interested in a set for a 1969, possibly 4 total if I can talk my buddy into it.

I want to clarify, these kicks are NOT for 6 x 9 speakers. I only suggest using the baffle because it fits that area. I would never encourage anyone to try and use 6 x 9's in any application - front or rear.

So I don't want anyone to get confused, these kicks are for a 6.5" speaker and a tweeter.

What reasons in particular are you not a fan of 6x9 speaker sizes?

If you have a stock 1969 passenger kick panel and can take a pic of it, we can compare it to the 68 passenger kick panel I have on hand, I'm pretty sure the only difference now between 1967-1968 and 1969 kicks is the area where it meets under the dash. If thats the case, that's as simple as cutting a notch in the upper part of these speaker kicks.

I bought myself a used "69" kick panel off ebay just for comparison purposes and I think the seller sent me a 67-68 because it matched up to my speaker kick perfectly.

Yeah I would normally, but between the 2nd gen, 1st gen and a few 3rd gen stuff I don't want to add more to my plate. It's not like I'm flooding with people wanting stuff, but it seems to come in groups. I spent this weekend doing some fiberglass stuff, when I should have been working on my 71 lol.
