Thanks Carl, not sure why people aren't jumping on them. Def cheaper than some of the other ones I have seen. Maybe most people aren't at that stage of their projects yet?

Meant to ask, your parking brake clears doesn't it? I wanted to be sure

Do you have a 67, 68, or 69? I sold these to a guy with a 69 and he said they weren't a direct fit. Who knows. I built these off a 68 and a member here can confirm they fit his car fine so I'm not sure what the differences are. He is supposed to be sending these back. But as soon as I get them back, your welcome to them.

Yeah I'd feel more comfortable selling you an unfinished set because its easier to mod the kick if its not covered. According to the other 69 owner the parking brake holes in the firewall needed to come over a bit and some trimming of the metal lip in the vent area behind the kick. I just wanted to point that out. This was on a 69

From what i can tell from googling the different years would be the notch at the top under the leading edge of the dash

Yeah that could be it too. Thats another reason why it would be better to get an unfinished set. The buyer can check fittement before covering. Also helps to locate the hole better for the speaker if you can put it against that area.

But I would expect some mods, I just don't want to mislead anyone. But these are not as expensive as the other ones I have seen listed for $299 - 400. Somewhat of a trade off

But I do want to clarify: I am NOT getting in the business of selling pre-covered kick panels, that set in the pics was for the sole purpose of getting more "finished" to pics to promote the "unfinished" kick panels.

I would rather sell them uncovered just in case there is some tweaking the end user has or wants to do. This is hard to do when the kicks already have vinyl glued to them and the holes pre-drilled. I open myself to a whole new can of worms with those. That's the reason why I don't sell the 70-81 kicks finished out either.

Everything i've seen,i.e.:Classic Industries, Ricks, etc shows the '69 to be different. It doesn't look different in the pics, but that doesn't mean anything. Hope this helps

Think I am going to start selling these solely through ebay, so if anyone is interested in the future that's where they can be found. I'll try and keep a set on hand so I can have them ready to ship. Seems like that is going to be my best option.

When I get the vinyl covered one back if it hasn't been modified I will list those there too. I'm not a business and can't afford to take a hit like companies like Jegs or the big warehouses. I have a full time job and def not breaking the bank here on these, this more of a hobby.

just wanted to offer something nice for a low price. I tend to have better luck with eBay.

Just search for my username 1971camaroguy or 1967-1969 Camaro or Firebird Speaker Kick Panels.

Got the vinyl covered ones on eBay now with a 1969 disclaimer that you might have to cut some metal behind the speaker and move out the parking brake a bit

Search for 1967-1969 Camaro or Firebird Speaker Kick Panels Pro-Touring

How about a disclaimer that these will not fit on a 69 without many many hours of modification. Seems these were designed for 67-68 which are way different then 69. Why not sell them for 67-68 like they were designed for and when you come up with a correct set for 69's then start advertising those different sets for 69's. I know my dad wasn't willing to come on the forums after buying the set from you and let everyone know but I will since now it seems you are still selling them for 69's without a proper disclaimer that these WILL NOT fit 69's without a ton of modification. I wouldn't want to see a another person go through what he went through trying to get these to fit a 69.

Not trying to be a jerk but you will be putting in a lot of time to get these to fit correctly in a 69. I know from experience. They are nice for the money but they are for 67-68 which fits completely different and is completely different than a 69. If I were putting them in a 67-68 I would have no problem running these.

We are wondering if there is a fix for the 69. We'd love to put these in our 69! They look awesome! We are using
      6-1/2" speakers in the front.
