Cost of a 6 or 8 point cage?
This would be for a 67 camaro. ive never loooked into prices so im not sure, just looking for something that is NHRA/IHRA legal. looking at probally a 10 second car set up for bracket racing. thanks

10-19-2005 #2I was planning to do my own from a kit and decided to compare with chassis shop pricing. I was quoted $120 per point for the first eight points. Then he wanted another $400-450 to go 10pt, and yet another $450-475 to reach the front of the frame. Those were his general prices, not for a specific car.
A few years ago, another shop (which I like better) quoted me around $1500 for a 12-14pt cage. He may have been giving me a "friend of the business family discount" though.Todd Perkins

ok, thanks. im not even sure what im going to do with this car yet, except that i will be putting it back on the street. im thinking a pavement pounder on 10.5 inch tires. not sure though. too many ideas.
