Wheels are Jongbloed racing - I'm running 18x11 with 315's up front, 18x12 with 335's rear. Really happy with the quality. I think Cortex Racing is probably the best place to get them through.

Your Bird is coming along very nicely. The wheels you chose should look great. Keep up the good work out of that small garage of yours.

Thanks Wayne. Looking forward to your next update. The transformation your camaro has undergone is nothing short of amazing. Anyone needing motivation take a look at his car after it was stripped!!

Not much of an update but progress is progress. Radiator mounted. The front clip on which it is located will be fully removable.

Pretty much the top level Griggs Racing stuff
Front - Griggs Racing SLA, aluminium drop spindles, adjustable tubular sway bar
Rear - Griggs Racing watts link, aluminium LCA's and torque arm
Shocks are aluminium double adjustable coil-overs (compression and rebound)
      Cambered diff
The unibody is totally redundant given the tubular frame/cage that was built - can post some pics showing mounting etc if you like

Thanks very much. The original plan was to build some big flared wheel arches but am glad it is now a true wide-body. Even mustang people don't really pick it but rather stand their scratching their heads wondering how the rubber fits.

Great attention to styling detail! I love the roll pan, the way you angled the interior panels to look like a stealth fighter, and of course the wide body. It's all coming together so nicely. Do you have a build thread on the widebody portion of the job?

No but I will put one together at some point when I get the chance.

Hello! Jan from Norway here. This mustang from Australia is bæææææd I registered here just to comment. I have watched fastbacks for many years, and this is one of the coolest. When I get the money I am gonna build a widebody fastback like yours but with rtr-x fenders outside of the already widened car and Eleanor kit. And maybe chopping the roof incrementally one inch. I am checking the progress every week now. When you have the time it would be great to see a HD video clip of the car. Keep it up

Thanks Jan. Really appreciate your post. Will hopefully get to the track before the end of the year. Plan on sticking a proper race car driver in to give some useful feedback. There will be video. The data logger I'm running also links up with a Go-Pro so you get telemetry on the video if you want it (gear, revs, speed, g's, track position etc). When it's done I will look at putting a full build thread together showing the construction of the cage and widebody work. Just hard getting it done!
