MotiV8r Reloaded - The official car of Pro-Touring.com

MotiV8r has been sitting for a while due to the desire to update some things and the lack of time and money. I'm sure many of you can relate to that.

So, it's time to get back into it and start having fun instead of watching everyone have it.

So, to kick it off I made the video below. Watch for regular updates here until it's back on the road. 2015 should be a fun year.

At the moment the plan is to get the car on the road. Once I'm not tinkering with it I'll build another. Maybe keep one nice and comfy daily drver type and make one flat black, mean and nasty. LOL!

Congrats Larry. That will be super nice to have the SMOG legal setup in there. Just so much less to worry about it seems. No one has mentioned. Can you modify that engine and not break the SMOG rules? I'm guessing as long as you keep the emissions equipment it would be fine?

Unlike say a CTS-V that might have mods that are CARB approved and allowable the E-Rod can't be changed. It must remain as is to be smog legal.

While pulling the engine today I realized something kind of cool. Watch the video and you will see how long I've had the car.

It's pretty far apart now. Looking good Larry. I can't wait to hear it run. Is there any sort of schedule you're trying to keep to? I sure hope not....

Okay good to know. Either way it will be a great time. I will however miss the twin turbo setup. Even though I never rode in it or heard it run it sure had the look man!

Things are moving along well. MotiV8r has been gutted and this Saturday April 4th I drop it off at JCG in Oxnard to put it on a jig and get started.
