Things are going to start happening now. I dropped MotiV8r off at JCG Restoration & Customs today. Soon they will cut out the trans tunnel and weld in the new taller one made by Bowler and make room for the Chevrolet Performance LSA E-rod crate motor and T-56 Super Magnum.

With MotiV8r now at JCG Restorations in Oxnard Calif I was able to open up the crate and see what's inside. What you will see in the video below is what arrives when you order an E-Rod version of the LSA motor from Chevrolet Performance. Watch for more videos soon of the other parts that I ordered such as the accessory drive, air conditioning, oil pan and so on.

Late today more progress was made at JCG. Wheels, exhaust and rear end are out. Tomorrow they will probably have it on a jig and I need to get busy ordering parts.

      Time for a few updates

MotiV8r is in good hands at JCG to begin some of the heavy work like replacing the trans tunnel with the new Bowler unit and installing the engine and trans.

We cleaned up the rear end and sent it back to Moser to make some changes to it and make it 1" wider. It was 55" wide and I need it 56" wide so I can eliminate the spacers I was running. I'll spill the beans on what the other cool changes are soon. I scored a nice Winters box to ship the rear end back courtesy of a rear end shop local to me.

Thanks to a lot of help from my nephew Justin the LSA engine is out of the crate and on a stand.

And no, the C7 in the driveway is not mine. I wish it was but it's not. LOL

Time for an oil pan swap. The factory CTS-V pan won't fit in my Morrison sub frame.

Sooooo clean. I wish it would stay this way.

We are making a billet dash insert for my Racepak IQ3 data logger. My dad made me a test panel to make sure the geometry was correct.

Nice! Having that to work on sort of dulls the sting of sending the Vette back. They are pretty engines aren't they.

I plan to refresh the turbo motor, put all the Holley gear on it I have and find something fun to put it in. I'm thinking a wagon of some kind.

It's time for another short MotiV8r Reloaded update. This short video shows you what is included in the Chevrolet Performance LSA accessory drive system.

Included with the air conditioning add on for the LSA Chevrolet Performance includes a cool belt installation tool. It sure beats using a crowbar and a screwdriver.
