'59 - '64 Chevy Impala / Bel Air Ridetech Air Ride Kit - never used
I changed course on my 61 Impala bubbletop and am now selling parts I no longer need.
This is a brand new, unused air ride kit which I bought new, and I have receipts. This was Ride Techs top of the line Level 3 offering for 59 64 Impalas, Bel Airs, and Biscaynes when I bought it in 2007. It includes everything you need to install air ride, and goes farther with Ridetech's proprietary Strong Arm suspension control arms and anti-sway bars. I have also upgraded this kit with larger valves and front level sensors integrated with the Shockwaves. Front and rear shocks are double adjustable.
I installed the front and rear arms, front Shockwaves, rear Coolride shocks, and front anti-sway bar and there are some very minor marks on some items. If you want close up pictures of these let me know. I never installed the electrics or air lines.
This is very similar to the current part #11060399 which lists for $8,125 (not counting my $350 in upgrades). I'm asking $7,200 + shipping (or meet within ~150 miles of Washington DC). At this point I would like to try to sell the entire kit at once and do not want to part it out.
Included are:
- Front upper and lower control arms, new ball joints and bushings
- Rear upper and lower control arms (I added an optional second upper control arm)
- Panhard bar
- Shockwave double adjustable front shocks with built in level sensor
- Coolride double adjustable rear shocks
- Front and rear anti-sway bars
- Digital display and controller
- RidePro E3 controller
- 2 remote controls
- 5 gallon air tank
- Electric air compressor
- All the wiring and air hose is brand new, never cut
- Upgraded 3/8 valves
- New grade 8 hardware
Differences from current part #11060399:
- Double adjustable front Shockwaves shocks, not triple adjustable
- Double adjustable rear Coolride shocks, not triple adjustable
- No AirPod, all the items are separate components
- Older style anti-sway bar, not their MUSCLEbar
Upgrades from 11060399:
- Big Red 3/8 valves and fittings ($200) larger valves and lines inflate the bags more quickly
- Leveling sensors are infrared and built into the Shockwaves ($150)
Thanks for looking!
