Anvil 2nd Gen Camaro blems at big discounts

We have two gloss finish power bulge hoods that are carbon top, fiberglass bottom blems. The only thing wrong with one of them is that the carbon fiber weave is a little less than perfect on the corner of the bulge on both sides. Other than that, it's a very nice hood. That one is on sale for $550. The other one has the same problem, but also has a slight haze to the surface which is only noticeable in the right light. That one is $395. Normal retail on these is $995.

Hey Steve, I wanted to see if we could use your car for some test fitting a month ago, but I couldn't find your number. Hope all is well with you! What's happening in Shanghai? All good, I hope! Look me up when you're back, maybe we will have some parts you could use.

      Cheers, Matt

Both hoods sold in less than 24 hours! Luckily, we have a few more 2nd gen hoods, but I'll have to take some pictures.

Wow, that was fast. I should have jumped on it.
I'm here managing the fabrication and soon the installation of themed scenery for large section of the new Shanghai Disney Resort. I've been here for one year today, probably another 10 months or so to go. Good news for the bank account, bad news for car building at the moment. Sorry I couldn't help you out with the car, its up on jack stands at the shop. Ill be in touch when I get back, all the projects will be getting finished finally.

They look like bolt-on. The internal framing is here and the boards shown are bolted into the hinge bolt holes.

Our power bulge hoods add about an additional 2 1/2 inches of celarance over a stock steel hood and weigh anywhere between 1/3 to 1/4 of the weight of a steel hood.
All Anvil hoods are bolt on like factory hoods and use stock or aftermarket hinges and latches.
We have a couple of flat hood blems, but I think they may have some cracks that need some repair. The good news is you can save a lot of money. I'll try to get some pics posted as well as some pics of some other power bulge hoods we have as blems.

Here is one more 2nd gen power bulge hood blem.
This is a satin finish 100% carbon hood that has some weave imperfections and a few minor scratches. We're asking $750 + shipping, normally goes for $1,950.

We have a couple more power bulge hood blems left and one of two flat hood blems have been spoken for. I'll know more by the end of the week and will post more pictures.

Here's another 100% carbon fiber power bulge hood. Glossy on top, satin on the bottom. It's light (about 23.5 lbs.) and the only problem with it is that it has some hazy spots on the top side. The underside is really nice, so it would be a good candidate for painting the top side and leaving the underside satin carbon. This one is $750 (regular price is $1950). This is a killer hood for a killer deal for anyone who wants to put their second gen on a diet and lift the hood for a lot of oohs and aahs.
