The silver 71 that Griffith did last year belongs to SW.

I remember him having a '69 Camaro and maybe a SD Trans Am about ten years ago. I'm trying to remember what he had before those two cars, but it is not coming to me. I remember him occasionally driving Italian cars. Didn't he have a shop or exotic car dealership or something somewhere near Colvin Automotive's shop?

EDIT: Now I remember... I think it was a Pro Street blue / white, maybe a '69 Camaro? That must have been about 15 years ago. I used to hang out / talk with him at the Round Rock weekly show at the Antique Mall. Now that I think of it, that may have been closer to 20 years ago...

He goes through cars quickly... And yes, he did have a shop there. It's now off of 620 West of Austin. Here's the company website:

      http://www.elitemotorsports.com/

He's into big horsepower Italian exotics. If I recall correctly, he recently ran his Lamborghini in what I think was a 1/2 mile standing start run, and it was 220+ MPH. And yes, I'm almost positive it was a 1/2 mile, not a full mile event...

So I am looking again for a metal/paintshop to take on my car, I was planning on getting Griffith to do it, but seems like he has fallen off the face of the earth, hope he's ok

Any new suggestions 4 years later LOL

Call Customs and Hot Rods of Andice (just north of Austin) — before you do anything - just make the short drive up there to check out their shop. Not the cheap shop BTW — but if you want to sleep well knowing the work is perfect....

Mike at Musclerodz is another shop I wouldn’t hesitate to take a car to.
