69 Mustang Fastback. I think only the windshield and rear window would be needed; no side windows

Flush mount front and rear glass sounds good... If you make it totally complete with a good installation kit and excellent instructions. The ones available currently are way too expensive.

No one is completely useless..They can always be used as a bad example

Timely thread. I'd like to go with flush glass for my 70 Formula build and need to figure out QUICKLY how we're going to approach it (just got the shell back from stripping and will begin metal work soon). A pre-engineered kit would be great to save time, I'm shocked there isn't an available solution. I'm in Scottsdale and would buy a sorted out kit immediately.

      Flush Mount glass kits...who's in?

I would love to do that on my 87 Monte Carlo SS. But the only way I would think it would look good is if the back 1/4 glass was also done.

Would you be offering the kits separate as in. With a wagon I would only need the front. MMM flush mount glass, shave the drip moldings. Ideas keep flowing.

I have to say flush mounting the front and rear glass on my Nova was the largest job on my entire car. If there was a kit for $1000 it would have been worth it.

For the cars with curved glass like my Nova, using the stock glass will require pulling in the C-pillar to be flush with the glass.

We'll be flush mounting the glass on my son's 68 Cougar when we start on it. I doubt there is much of a market for the Cougar though.

Since the Nova uses the "H" gasket, the glass will fall through the opening. I had to build a new flange around the entire opening, I brought it in about 1 inch so the glass could rest on it. I also raised it up some to bring the glass flush with the body. I then had to fill the gap in between the window and the body, about 1/2" or so. It's been a long time since I've done it. Where the glass wraps around to the side of the car, you have to cut the A and C pillars and push them in so the pillar is flush with the glass.

I have several pictures of the process if you want to PM me with your e-mail address. If you plan on doing it, make sure you get a shrinker/stretcher. I didn't have one at the time and it would have been so much easier. I purchase a shrinker/stretcher and my friend used it to flush mount his 66 mustang windows. It went a lot easier.

The last guy making them was trying to get $1999 for a set of front and rear glass and I think that is too high so what do you guys think we can sell them for. We don’t want to break the bank but we need to be able to make a little bit of money on these kits so we can make different kits for other applications. We were thinking in the $799-$899 for front and rear window kit with everything needed to install.

      You thoughts?

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
Count me in for a 68-69 Chevelle too. If it's $800 for the front and rear where do I sign up?
